Happy 2008, Everyone!
I hope your year is going well so far! On New Year's Day, I played outside in the snow with Mommy for a while...
I ate lots of snow and sledded down the hill, and then we went for a walk down the street. I didn't want to go back inside, but when I did I got to drink hot chocolate again! Winter is fun!
On Wednesday, we got the best news for the new year! We found out that Bupa's cancer is "markedly improved". I don't know exactly what that means, but everyone is very happy about it, so it must be good. But he does still have pneumonia, so he just needs to get rid of that and then he'll be as good as new! They will continue on his same chemotherapy regimen, which he is tolerating well, and we'll keep praying that he gets better!
So on Thursday, Mommy and I went up to Manistee to visit, and to get our van which had broken down on Christmas Eve (Thank you again, Robbie, for taking such good care of us and letting us use the Freestyle. Everyone we know should buy their cars from Rob Pepera at Manistee Ford!) Anyway, I got to see my Gaa and she read stories to me.
I wanted to show you how big I've gotten. This is me on Gaa's lap last New Year's. Big difference, huh?
My aunt Jeanette gave me this cool tobaggan to use at Grandma and Bupa's. Mostly I've been using it to hang out and watch TV, but sometimes Bupa pulls me around the house in it. Thank you, Aunt Jean!
Grandma Penny and I danced a lot... she's a good dancer!
And then I stole Gaa's cane and walked around with it for a while.
It was a very fun day, and I got to see Pat and Richie, too! I miss all of you already!
Next weekend I get to see my cousin Hunter and lots of my aunts and uncles.... they are coming to visit our house for a few days. I can't wait to see you all!
