A Mollee Jolly Christmas

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I hope you had as much fun for Christmas as I did. I am such a lucky girl... I got to have THREE Christmases! I got pretty good at opening presents... and since everyone knows who I love the most, it was kind of an Elmo Christmas.

My first Christmas was on Saturday at my Grampa Dave's. But we forgot our camera, so I don't have any pictures of that... Grampa took some, though. We had lots of fun and I ate lots of Jell-O. I got a cool Elmo school bus that I just love, and lots of other stuff. Thanks, Grampa Dave!

Here I am taking a bath with Hunter. Mom gave us both mohawks. We're pretty cool, don't you think?

My second Christmas was at Gramma Jackie's. I got a TMX Elmo and a big Elmo storybook pillow and all sorts of other things like a big musical table and books and movies. Hunter has had one more year at this Christmas thing than I have, so he played it cool...

And I hung out with Gramma in my new Elmo slippers.

Uncle Will couldn't keep his monkey fingers out of the monkey bread.

After all that present opening and big dinner, Hunter and I needed a break. We hung out on Gramma's bed and watched the Backyardigans (Hunter loves Pablo like I love Elmo!)

That night we drove to Manistee. Mom said it wasn't fun... I loved all the pretty snow. And I got to sleep a lot, so I didn't mind. Monday we had a big Christmas at Randy's new house with all my Pepera cousins. We had such a good time! I got my biggest Elmo yet! He's so much bigger than me! Unfortunately, many of the pictures we took turned out really fuzzy, but here's one of me with Elmo.
After that, we went back to Grandma and Bupa's (Bupa couldn't go to Randy's) and opened some gifts with them, but then we had to go home because Mommy had to work on Christmas Day so I got to hang out with Daddy.

So it was a great Christmas and I'm so glad I got to see so many people, although I wish I could have spent more time with everyone. I miss you all and hope you have a wonderful New Year.
See you in 2008 when I'll be a big sister!

Pre-Christmas Catch-Up

Hey, Everyone!

I'm so sorry it's been a while since I've posted. The holiday season has been hectic for our family. It's sure been making my hair stand on end!

Last week went to this great Christmas party at Daddy's work and they had a clown and hot dogs and pacorn and bawoons. And I got to see my friend Carolyn and make some new friends. Not shockingly, I wanted whatever she was playing with and somehow her bawoon animal was better than mine. But it was fun!

That week, our cat Dante got sick. We took him to the vet on Monday the 10th because he wasn't feeling well over the weekend. They said his bladder was blocked. So they kept him until Wednesday and got him peeing again but he wasn't eating. We brought him home and he stayed in Mommy and Daddy's room, but he didn't want to eat so Mommy had to feed him with a syringe. By Friday morning, he wasn't feeling any better and he hadn't peed at all again so we took him back to the vet. They said that his bladder had reobstructed and that he wasn't really a candidate for surgery because he hadn't ever recovered from the first catheterization, and that he was suffering a lot. Mommy cried alot, so I gave her lots of hugs and tried to make her laugh. So we brought him home for the afternoon and gave him lots of love and attention. He couldn't move very much but he did manage to crawl under the Christmas tree, which Mommy said was always his favorite place. After Daddy got home, we went back to the vet again and Mommy cried some more. We said bye-bye to Dante and he had to stay with the vet. Our other kitty, Faust, doesn't quite know what to do without his big brother. Plus, I've found new fun in terrorizing him, so I don't think that's helping. Anyway, we all miss Dante and I know it was a long story, but that's my farewell tribute to "That Orange Cat". Bye, Dante. Thanks for letting me pet you without running away!

Saturday was the annual Cookie Party at Uncle Dick and Aunt Marianna's. It was so much fun to see all my cousins! I learned to say lots of new names like Kay and Laure and Aubey (I couldn't quite get the "r" in Aubrey). I tried to say a few other names like Busia and Mady but they never quite came out right. But don't worry... if I haven't learned how to say your name yet, I will! Mommy says I'm really good with names. She's going to make me a photo album with everyone in my family in it so I can practice (it'll have to be a big book, huh?)

Here's a picture of me playing with a really neat LeapFrog alphabet toy Aunt Marianna had. I liked when it said "Ribbit!"

Here I am with some of my cousins. You can't see Drake - he was playing video games - but that's his Gatorade I stole and would drink on the sly behind the chair.

I got to rock in a rocking chair that was just my size! Like my no-min (snowman) sweater?

Then it was Daddy's birthday. Here I am helping him open his gifts. (By the way, my shirt says "My Dad is the Man!")

Let's see... other than that, I've been practicing feeding my baby so I can help Mommy with my baby brother...

And I've been learning how to use food products to style my hair...

And I've been working on potty-training... .

... what? Do you see a problem??

One of my early Christmas presents was a sled, so I got in my snowsuit and went outside where Daddy pulled me around and I sledded down the hill!

Did I mention that I thought it was fun to eat the snow??

I kept rolling off the sled. Getting around isn't easy in this big snowsuit!

After all that excitement in the snow, I got to have my first hot chocolate inside with Mom and Daddy. It tasted so good! I love ah-chokik!

Well, Mommy says that Tinta (that's Santa) is coming soon, but I'm most excited to see all my family this weekend. If I don't get to see you, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and I'm sure I'll post pics of my second Christmas sometime next week!

Lots of love to you all,

Mollee

Eighteen Month Pics with Aunt Jen

Yesterday I went to Aunt Jen's new photo studio and she took some pictures of me. It was so much fun! The studio is sooo cool and I was the first person photographed there! Anyway, she posted some of my photos on her blog (see the link on the left) so you can see them if you want (look under "Look at this cutie!"). I'll put the link on here when Aunt Jen sends it to me so you can see them all and order some if you want.

Hope you are well!

Christmas in Royal Oak

This past weekend we went to Royal Oak to my GG and Uncle Keith's for Christmas. I had so much fun running around with my cousins, Hunter and Nicholas. They are so big! We ate dinner at a big fancy place and the waitresses were so nice to me! I blew them lots of kisses and said 'thank you' and 'bye bye' when we left. We don't have any pictures of dinner because Mommy forgot the camera at GG's, but I'm hoping Aunt Steph will send us the big family photo when she gets a chance! Anyway, here are a few photos from our afternoon at GG's!

Here I am with Uncle Don. He's trying to keep me from eating this Santa candle.

I'm helping Gramma Jack open presents. Gramma, do you want me to hold that way over here so you can read it?

Here's a picture of my big boy cousins, Nicholas and Hunter. Nicholas just turned three and Hunter is a little more than two. They are very nice boys!

And here's one of my beautiful GG in her pretty, sparkly sweater.

We had such a good time with everyone! Thanks again for dinner, GG and Uncle Keith! I really liked the mushroom soup and the breadsticks.

I hope to see everyone again soon!

Playdate at Playworld

Today we had a playdate with my best friends Foxx and Kate (who have started their own blog, by the way... see the link at the right!)

We went to Playworld and it was so much fun! There were so many things to do that I didn't know where to start! So Foxx and I played for a while in Wacky World. I hopped and hopped!

Then we played in some of the playhouses.

Kate and I played Patty Cake.

Then we played in the balls.

And we played firetruck and I drove!

I have to tell you, I really am getting too big for my britches (at least that's what Mommy says. I don't know what britches are!) But we sure had a good time! I am so lucky to have such good friends!

See you later!

Giving Thanks

I can't believe that November is almost over. I'm almost a year and a half old now! My baby brother, who is growing inside my mommy, is 27 weeks old. Mommy says he moves around a lot, and mommy's belly sure is getting big!

Well, I celebrated Thanksgiving day with the Irving family (you've seen pictures of my friend Carolyn before... she's 4 weeks younger than I am and she was the other pea-in-a-pod for Halloween last year.) Anyway, Mommy had to work, so the Irvings were so kind and generous as to invite me and Daddy for dinner. It was so much fun! Miss EB (Carolyn's mom) took some pictures and you can see them at http://irvingfamilyblog.blogspot.com/. Just look under the heading Thanksgiving.

We sure have a lot to be thankful for this year. Especially that Bupa got out of the hospital on Wednesday! We went to Manistee again on Friday morning he's feeling so much better he was even able to pick me up! It was so nice to be with him and Grandma Penny for the weekend. Gaa even spent the night on Saturday! We had a lot of visitors Saturday afternoon. Denny and Mary came over with Jeff and Kerry and Keiffer and Jackson. They were very nice. Keiffer and Jackson shared their trucks and crayons. I showed them one of my favorite books starring ME!

Later, Aunt Pat, Uncle Richie, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Rod, Tighe, Carlee, Aunt Amy, Uncle Robbie, Chloe and Haylee all came over. I got chased around and I laughed and laughed. I sat at the big table with the girls and had some juice.

Then the girls served everyone cheese, crackers and apples and danced and tumbled for us. I want to be that good at it some day! I love to dance and flip like that!

This weekend we are going to see my G.G. and Uncle Keith (and the rest of our family) in Royal Oak. I can't wait!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! I know I am thankful for all of my family and friends (and Elmo!) See you soon!

Hanging out in Manistee

Well, it's Thanksgiving week and I'm in Manistee with my Grandma and Bupa and Mom and Daddy. Bupa is in the hospital with something called cellulitis and they have him on three I.V. antibiotics. He's been there since Thursday but he's doing much better today. The doctor just told him that he might be home by Thursday for Thanksgiving. We don't know when he'll start his chemotherapy again, but they say that his blood clot is getting better, so that's good. Poor Bupa. I know he'd rather be at home, but he's had lots of visitors and I get to go see him a few times a day (between meals and naps.) He calls me his aspirin.

Anyway, I just wanted to update everyone... we haven't taken very many pictures lately, plus we don't have the cord to download the photos. But when we get home (we're going home for Wednesday and Thursday so Mom can work) Mom will upload a few more photos. Now when I see the camera, I say "Smile!" (it actually comes out "mio") and I have this cheesy grin. It makes Mommy laugh. But I am definitely a happy girl (that would be "appy!")

So I'll catch up with you soon!

Love, Mollee

My Very First Blog!!

Hey, Everyone!
Mom thought it would be a good idea to try out this blog thing. She seems to think it will be more interesting than the Kodak Gallery photos, and maybe we'll post stuff more often! I'm going to start with today, and maybe later I'll catch you up on Halloween and stuff... we'll see how it goes!

Anyway, today is a beautiful day so Mommy and I went outside to play.

I got to run around in the leaves for a while!

It was really fun. I picked them up and threw them and the wind took them away. That made me giggle.

Mommy kept taking all these pictures of me playing in the leaves ...

Here's one through a tree (we were playing hide-and-seek!)

... and then we went to play on the jungle gym and I went down the slide all my myself because I'm a big girl!!

So I guess that's it for today... please let me know what you think about my blog. I can't wait to tell you all about the holidays coming up and fill you in on my new baby brother who should be here in February!! Love to you all!
